Our story began in 1923, when our grandfather, Ernest Cholakis, immigrated to Canada from Sparta, Greece in search of a better life. With determination, resilience, and a passion for flowers, he built Broadway Florists from the ground up — creating what would become one of the longest-running flower shops in Winnipeg.
Through decades of hard work, Ernest established a reputation for quality, care, and personal service. His four sons(John ,Harry,Paul and Chris) grew up in the business, learning the craft of floral design and helping expand Broadway Florists into a well-known name for fresh flowers, custom arrangements, and same-day flower delivery in Winnipeg.
Over the years, Broadway Florists has been part of countless life moments across the city — from weddings and anniversaries to sympathy and funeral services. Generations of Winnipeg families have trusted us to deliver flowers that express love, celebration, and remembrance.

Delivery Policy
"Flower Delivery Winnipeg-
How fast is delivery? Broadway Florists has two delivery times a day. Morning delivery is 9:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. Afternoon delivery is 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
local delivery fee of $14.99 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Holiday Deliveries
To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, July 1st Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, November 11th Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
